What an awesome place. For spectators, but also especially for photographers. It's like a playground for us to have fun with. Modern tracks are desolate with their enormous runoffs and empty grandstands. You're miles away from the cars and you need long glass with teleconverters to get some of what you need. Even if these new tracks were sell out crowds, they would feel empty. But not this track. Normally it's a park filled with trees and flowers and a quiet road that for one weekend a year becomes home to the wail of F1 V8 engines. The scenic views of the skyline and St. Lawrence river which surrounds this Canadian paradise are incredible and make the great racing even more enjoyable.
